John Starks #3
Brazilian Maduro Wrapper
Flawlessly structured, the nuances of this line are products of the neutral, yet complex tones of its handsome Brazilian wrapper, one that is lavishly filled with the grandest fruits of both Dominican Seco and Olor filler.
Connecticut Wrapper
At first glance, smokers will marvel at its flawless structure. More importantly, it is the consistent, smooth draws from this treasure that have smokers continually praising its medium-bodied delight. Revealing a dominant spice, nut-based presence—in addition to a variety of other flavors
John Starks #3 Signature Series Cigar - Corojo Maduro
Full flavors of pepper and spices that have come to be synonymous with the Corojo leaf are tempered by an Olor Binder, while a bountiful blend of Piloto Cubano Ligero, Piloto Cubano Seco, Dominican Olor Ligero, Criollo, and ’98 Ligero eliminates any element of harshness, and highlights only extreme, complex flavor.
Charles Sifford Collection
Charles Sifford Centennial Cigar
Golf legend and Charlotte native Dr. Charles “Charlie” Sifford, born in 1922, is often referred to as “the Jackie Robinson of golf” for his role in breaking down color barriers in the sport.
Dr. Sifford, who died in February of 2015 at the age of 92, was the first Black golfer to hold a PGA Tour card and be inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame. He fell in love with the game while caddying as a boy. By the time he started playing professionally in the late 1940s, however, Black golfers faced discrimination and weren’t welcomed into the PGA membership under a “Caucasian-only” clause. Sifford was instrumental in getting the PGA Tour to formally terminate the clause in 1961.
Dr. Sifford's love of cigars started at an early age during his days as a caddie in North Carolina. He would become one of the most well known, golfing cigar aficionados of the twentieth century. Please enjoy our Legend Brand Centennial tribute cigars dedicated to the legacy of Dr Charles L. Sifford.
