Crafted by Master Blender Rolando Villamil and constructed in Santiago, Dominican Republic, the Sifford Centennial Premium Cigar Ecuadorian Connecticut Wrapper is offered in a 50x7 Churchill.  Villamil’s knowledge of tobacco blends has him coupling the understated Dominican Seco long-filler, along with the mild nature of the Olor. The marriage of these fillers produce a taste that is accentuated by the Ecuadorian Connecticut Wrapper—a leaf grown in Ecuador with Connecticut seeds.Owing its attractive hue to the overcast skies of the South American region from which it originates, the Ecuadorian Connecticut Wrapper is as attractive to the eye as it is to the palate.

Born in Charlotte, NC in 1922, Charlie Sifford began smoking Cigars at an early age. While working as a caddie at a local Country Club, Charlie would give his caddie wages of $0.50/day to his mother , to help support his parents and Sifford siblings. He would keep the tips he received for himself , around 10 cents , most of which went to the local tobacconist for his cigars. Charlie would go on to become an accomplished professional golfer, and be referred to as the Jackie Robinson of Golf, for being the first person of color to obtain a Professional Golfers Associations players card.

Charlie had plenty of grit and determination to withstand the injustices of his day - doing so with grace and dignity - while scoring many victories , oftentimes with his trademark cigar. Please enjoy the Legend Brand Sifford Centennial Cigar - dedicated to the life and legend of Dr. Charles L. Sifford.
